As a registered architect, Ian combines conservation advice with the architectural services of design, documentation, contract administration and contract observation for additions and alterations to heritage buildings as
well as the design of new buildings adjacent to heritage buildings.
Specialist areas of expertise include the conservation of raw and fired earth and stone building conservation, urban conservation planning, conservation in seismic zones and historic colour analysis.
