The practice of Ian Bowman, architect and conservator offers all aspects of built heritage conservation. Specialist areas of expertise include the conservation of raw and fired earth and stone building conservation, urban conservation planning, conservation in seismic zones and historic colour analysis.
Services provided include researching and recording for conservation plans, condition surveys and remedial action plans, maintenance plans, district plan heritage inventories and design guidelines combined with the architectural services of design, documentation, contract administration and contract observation for additions, alterations and new buildings adjacent to heritage buildings.
